A Day of Rest

We enjoyed a day of rest & relaxation with our friends in the Tijuana community. We participated in a worshipful church service this morning with Pastor Hermando at the church where we are staying. Then we spent the afternoon jumping into spots of sunshine to recharge our batteries Wall-E style. Scott & Marcia took us out for lunch at a wonderful Chinese buffet in town.

Later we spent time at the Geurink's house eating fresh (and sour!) citrus picked from their trees before heading out to the Rehab Center for an evening service. The service was lengthy - even Del said it was his first 2+ hour service in a long time. But the praises were sincere & filled with passion and it was good to spend some time with "nuestros hermanos" we will be working with this week.


Finally, on the way home we stopped for a few essentials like TP y bebir naranja for breakfast. Now we're going to bed listening to the soft rain that we hope leaves with the morning sun to dry up some of the mud!
